Adding controller data, changing key switches, record automation data or just play around with the real-time performance options – these are just a few occasions where the additional control surface in TouchOSC comes in handy.

Our developers created the free new TouchOSC layout customized for Session Keys Upright focusing on complete wireless control of all key features from your mobile device. With this flexible app you can use your iPhone, iPad or Android device as a versatile performance interface while playing the chords and melodies on your keyboard simultaneously.

TouchOSC is a customizable open sound control (OSC) and MIDI control surface app for mobile devices. You can buy it in Apple‘s App Store and at Google Play. (Links)

Once you have set up ToucOSC and TouchOSC Bridge you‘ll then have the following screens on an iPad / Android tablet.

Pentamorph & Dynamics

Easy blending from the unplugged sound over the original samples and the currently chosen tonality up to the fully reversed sounds. In the lower section, you can control the dynamic range in dialing in the right amount of response and timbre.

FX

Activate/deactivate the 6 effects and tweak them to your taste.

Animator/Smartcord

Activate/deactivate the Animator and Smart Chord. Choose the phrases, change chord tuning or tweak the Humanize function.

Tonality

In this screen, you have controls for the resonances, the envelope, the noise components of the pedal, keys and the release, as well as the volume of the reverse samples.

Since the Pentamorph control is the most dramatic sound design tool, we’ve implemented it on the bottom of every page.

Setup

From your mobile device, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play to get TouchOSC. After downloading the app start it on your device.
Get the free Session Keys layouts from here and download them to your computer. The download also includes a detailed installation guide.
Install and start TouchOSCBridge on your PC or Mac (You can download it here).
Activate it in Kontakt MIDI Settings:

Start the app and you’re ready to go!
